The 40-foot indoor climbing wall at the Outdoor Centre still remains the first and only of its kind in Calgary due to its unique features, which include molded concrete panels embedded with real quartzite that are set at different angles with overhangs. The wall simulates outdoor climbing and is designed for leading on gear, anchor building, rappelling, rock rescue and crevasse rescue. The facility also has an Entreprise wall with fixed draws and a separate bouldering gym with three different surfaces. The 12-foot high bouldering wall features a variety of climbing surfaces and holds for a broad range of ability levels
