Robb Haze
Brilliant bouldering area, colour co-ordinated grade system. All the usual walls, plus a free-standing boulder, school board and FigFour routes. Numerous lead climbs across the grades, including some top ropes, in "the pit". Walls are 12m high, with usual features and faces. Half height treaching/training walls, with full range of grades, and faces. Child friendly area with elephant shaped boulder and tiger motive traverse wall.
hi Phil. Myself and a couple of friends are often at big rock. We're usually there on a Thursday due to their schedules rather than mine. I'd like to climb more during the week or at the weekend, so I'd be happy to have another climbing partner. You say you've done your assessment.. Was that the assessment for belaying/top roping/leading? I'm happy to do whatever so just let me know. Even on Thursdays if you want to climb, I'm sure the other guys won't mind at all. Means we all get more climbing in if there's an extra person to belay anyway :) Dave
Hi Dave, thanks for responding. I've only done the 4 week induction course which covered top rope and belaying. I'm still very much a beginner I'm afraid but if you could put up with that it would be great to get to know some other climbers. Like I said I can do pretty much any weekday after 7pm. I'm usually pretty free at the weekends as well although not this weekend unfortunately. Are you local to MK?
No problem at all, I'm happy to climb with anyone as long as they can belay safely :) I'm about 20 minutes away from BR, so pretty local. I might be able to Thursday this week if you are?
