The Sunderland climbing wall has an area of 900m2, with future plans taking it up to over 2,500m2! The competition wall overhangs by a massive 8m, with two adjacent 6m overhangs testing the stamina of the most proficient of climbers. There are over 140 routes on the main walls, 90 of which are top-rope routes spread over 32 lines. Grading for the main walls ranges from F3 to F8a (French Sports Grade) or HVD to 6c (British Tech Grade). The bouldering wall is a 22 metre new wave cellar board type with a very wide range of grades from easy to extremely difficult.

Hi. How often do you want to cliimb and when?
Probably 1/2 times a week. I work shifts which vary from week to week between early & late so would have to sort out a day week to week rather than setting a particular day/time. If that sounds any good to you let me know! I'm in Newcastle myself so would prefer to climb there but could make a trip over to Sunderland every so often. Ta! Daryl
