Coming MARCH 2010! The Surrey Sports Park will offer some of the finest and most challenging indoor climbing in the South East of England. You will discover our climbing centre houses a testing variety of overhanging competition walls and an exciting resin-featured 12m lead wall that will provide climbers the opportunity to place in situ protection. In addition there is an excellent training area for the novice, which boasts a number of ledges that allow for skill development. To complement the numerous climbing routes there is an extensive bouldering wall. This offers a range of challenges for all levels of climber, and is the perfect area for training. We then have the most unique climbing area the Surrey Sports Park climbing centre (or any wall in fact) has to offer: the 'Cave'. This area is a fully featured climbing facility housed in a cave-like surround. It will give you the opportunity to take on the most demanding of challenges, grappling with overhangs and 'volume' sections across the roof, along with 3D features across the walls. When you put all of these features together, and then include over 60m of traversing, private and group instruction, and competition and social programmes, you will find an exceptional climbing experience. The Surrey Sports Park climbing centre has something very special to offer every level of climber.
