The Edge has 150 marked routes and features a 13m articulated wall that can rotate to minus 45°. There is even a trad-route should you fancy the practice. Our Bouldering area is one of the best of its kind in the country, with problems ranging from V0 to V9+. A mixture of flat panels and featured walls provide overhanging cracks, flakes, pockets, corners and arêtes. The Edge is also a founder member of the Association of British Climbing Walls and supports the work of the British Mountaineering Council.

Climbing with Shaun. My goodness I was on fire :P. I climbed 4 6a+ lead routes, including one that put me in a crazy bridging position when clipping in :P. Tried to second a 6c+ route, but couldn't manage it :(.

Climbing with G & Shaun. I finished off the rest of the 6a lead routes, including a really steep one. The steep one looked incredibly scary, but I managed to overcome the fear & keep my head, & I did it without too much difficulty. I was ecstatic :D.

Climbing with G and Shaun. Managed 3 more 6a leading routes :). Also seconded most of a 6c route, which was flipping hard :P. It gave me a bit of dyno practice, & I think I'm starting to get a bit better at em :).
