Our unique climbing wall, built by Rockworks in their RealForm system, has been hand sculpted to capture the curvature and complexities of natural rock. Sculpted by a team of expert craftsmen and climbers, it includes an extensive variety of detailed climbing features including flakes, pockets, grooves, horizontal & vertical cracks, tufas, and bulges mimicking a wide variety of natural rock types. Together with the bolted on holds, these provide a challenging and ideal climbing surface for all climbers from novices to elite performers. The 12.5m high wall consists of 2 Slabs, 2 Overhangs (1.7m & 1.2m), and 3 just over neutral. All 7 walls are fitted with in situ top ropes, and are also fully bolted for leading. (When leading, you will need to supply your own suitably rated dynamic rope, and quickdraws.)

Great wall for beginners, some nice lines. Only complaint would be that the routes have barely changed since 2010.

I am totally new to climbing but would love to learn if anyone is willing to teach?! I live in Watford so this is the best location for me. Thank you
Keely Edwards 64 weeks agoHi Hannah. If you're completely new to climbing, ie never held a rope or tied a knot before, then you might be better off considering the induction course. This is held on a Tuesday evening at Watford Central and will teach you everything you need to know to get started. Club session is on a Tuesday and Saturday evening after that. Regards, Keely.

Revision...lots of new routes :-)
