The Inner Strength Rock Gym Facilities Wall Climbing On the main floor, three walls provide nearly 200 linear feet of 32-foot ascents (5800 sq-ft total). 32 top-rope routes and 12 lead routes ranging in difficulty from 5.5 to 5.12+. Wall routes are reset on a regular, rotating basis. Bouldering On the main floor, a 360 degree boulder wall with a complex assortment of traverses and short problems. These routes are changed roughly once per six weeks for an endless variety and challenge. On the second floor, workout in the 'cave' and enjoy a natural feature bouldering wall so close to the outdoors --you might actually skip that weekend trip. Floor, Pads, & Walls The entire gym, both levels, is covered with open-cell foam, closed-cell padding, and a durable, non-slip carpet. Seams are sealed with velcro tape. Walking is easy and landings are safe. Three large crash-pads are available for the main floor bouldering zone, two on the second level. The climbing and boulder walls on the main floor are constructed of 3/4" plywood (supported by a rock-solid tri-laminant and steel frame) covered with 1" of concrete, providing a solid surface that neither sounds hollow nor flexes under weight or pressure. The concrete surface has enough texture for a good smear.
