The climbing wall was designed to challenge the skill, physical endurance, and flexibility of novice and advanced climbers alike. There are seven top rope climbing routes on 28 foot high, 812 square foot contoured wall with an overhang. A trained student attendant is always on site to ensure safety measures are followed, as well as provide advice. All climbers are expected to bring a partner for belaying. All climbers and belayers must show competence in knot tying as well as belaying techniques. All required climbing gear is provided for free with a MAVcard. Climbing shoes may be rented ($1.00 per pair per visit) or you can bring your own non-marring soft-bottom shoes. Specific hours are posted at the climbing wall.
