Castle Rock State Park has a bunch of boulder / climbing routes.
Entrance is at 1500 + Skyline blvd. The parking fee is $5 at the park service, while free outside lot on dirt. Cell phone service is often shoddy at the park.
Poison oaks.

Not that hot this time. Tried Parking Lot Boulder first; couldn't do much on it. Stuck with the ones around Magoo.

at what area, castle or pinnacles, what were you thinking of, if castle, some place in the sun, last temptation cliff, or mt. doom, if pinnacles, maybe wet kiss, big pucker, stupendous man,maybe portent, cantaloupe death, pod, sun wheel, stuff like that.
I'm down for heading to Castle Rock on Saturday, we were there 2 weeks ago but we couldn't find the turnoff from Goat Rock overlook to Mt. Doom
