Manure Pile Buttress is probably one of the best places for your first experience in the valley. Beautiful cracks and gentle inclines make climbing here a pleasure. Just be warned that classic like the Nutcracker will be packed so either get here early or have a very patient disposition as this is one of the most popular routes in Yosemite.
Park in the obvious area about 1.5 miles out of the village. Make sure you do not miss the car park or you will have to go all the way back.
