Awesome Walls Liverpool is situated in St Albans Church. The church first opened its doors in 1849 and closed them in to worshipers in 1991. The doors were reopened to a new breed of worshipers in 1999.
Over the last 9 years we have continually reinvested in our climbing facility making it what it is today. We have many plans to develop Awesome Walls Liverpool in the near future. These plans include a new reception and seating/chill area, cafe facilities and specialist climbing shop.

Fairly new to rock climbing, will have all my own gear very soon (next week or so), had someone showing me the basics so can now belay, double figure 8 knot, double figure out knot. Only done this a few times but i want to start going 1-2 times a week

Comment on movie - Msg Jonathon KresnerWalking around the large centre built inside an old church. The main room showcases a tower feature strucutre calls 'The pinnical', gripless bouldering, lot's of easy top ropes, a very nice negative curve main lead wall and secondary side lead walls. Upstairs there is a grip training area and downstairs is the 37m long traverse room and the crypt bouldering rooms with tons of roof problems.
