I have sent a few msgs on here to look for ple to climb locally. I have had a couple of responses,1 from Laura Flint. We msged to see if there might be a grp who are up for mting to climb outdoors? Leave nos or e-mail if interested & I can try sort it.
- Ed Gough - Hi Ben, I'm up for being part of an outdoor group. You'll need to know who has kit, and what kit too. I've got rocks/nuts, hexes, a 10m single, a good few qds and some dyneema slings. I plan on getting a pair of halves and a few cams in the near future.
- Ben James - I agree we need to know kit etc.If you have e-mail then maybe its worth me sending out a message to those interested and it might be an easier option to meet for a beer? A few people have expressed an interest.
- Peter Warriner - A beer always sounds good! I've got 50m rope, nuts and hexes, slings, cams, screw gates, petzle shunt, spare harness and shoes etc
- Ben James - Cool. I will wait a couple of days to see if any more get in touch then I will contact you guys again and we can try get something sorted.
- Richard - Ben, maybe try www.meetup.com and either join or start a group near you?
- Will Casson - I'm always on the look out for people to climb with both outdoors and indoors when the weather isn't so good. Have full rack, double and single rope ect......give me a shout if you manage to get a group together.

Looking to climb this sunday. No lead climbing experience but climbed outside to 6a. Currently no equipment so up for bouldering unless there is someone out there that has a spare harness for now. Keen to push on and get better.
- Peter Warriner - Hi Ben. I tend to head down to redpoint in birmingham as it was easier to find a climbing partner there but stockport is the same distance for me to travel. I can't quite do 6b outdoors but do have all my own gear and a reasonable level of experience.
- Ben James - Well i'm new to the area and close to Stockport so keen to do as much as possible. I don't have my own gear yet but apparently you can borrow it or i'm always up for bouldering.

I am a beginner and looking for someone to climb with after work (5 onwards) maybe 1/2 a week. I have been shown the ropes a few times but may need support with knots but I can belay. Not been doing it long but can manage a 5+/6a. Email me if suits.

Fairly new to climbing. Was a member of Nottingham climbing cntr for a few months before moving back to Manchester and really enjoyed it. Wld love to find someone to climb on a regular basis with, i checked out Awesome Walls today and it looks great:-)

Am looking to climb regularly but need a buddy (or buddies)! I'm somewhere between beginner and intermediate - no lead climbing exp. but I'm up for getting started with that. Doesn't matter if you're male or female providing you're laid back!
