Falcons Lookout at Weribee Gorge
One of two places in Werribee Gorge that climbing isn't banned. 20-45 minute hike (depending on current temperature and fitness level) through the valley and dry creek beds places you at the lookout. Great for beginners as top rope posts have been placed so trees don't get ringbarked from over use. Climbs from 11-26.
Info
Directions
Head out of Baccus Marsh via Griffiths Street, right at McCormack Road, right at Ironbark Road. Cross the train line. Soon after the crossing there's a carpark to the right. Take the well defined walking track to the summit.

Hi All,
I am a French student in Melbounre since tow months. I am desperately looking for a climbing partner. I have tried chocksotne but not much success. I don't have a car, no rope and no gear because it was to heavy to bring with me these stuff in the plane.
The next week end it's a long week end and I am looking for some poeples to head up to Araps or Grampians to climb some teens grade (Ozie grade) from the 6th to the 8th of June. I can lead and practice climbing since a long time.
So if your are interested let me know! It can be fun.
Cheers
Raph
