There is a camp ground by the #1 and 1x interction as well as a few more between Yam and Canmore woth Canmore being the closest major center with food, accomadation (ACC clubhouse) and climbing gear.
Yamnuska Rock is the most recent guide book and with the Yamnuska triangle (Canmore, the Ghost, K country/Calgary) everywhere else could be wet and snow covered with good climbing on Yam.
Directions
Mt. Yamnuska is north of the trans-Canada highway and is the first major peak you come two when entring the Bow Valley, it is about 45min west of Calgary and 20min east of Canmore. Take the Seebee exit on the 1X and at the 1A head east for aprox 2km to the marked Yam turn off on the north west side of the road.
From here head up the climbers trial with many switch backs up the slope with a few intresctions that will lead to the east side and decent trail from the scree run. On avrage it takes 1hr up to the face and up to 20min to the furthest climb.

if you have your eye on something in the 5.4-5.8 range and need a partner, give me as much notice as possible and i will be there. I also have some glacier travel experience.
