Ben Nevis

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. It is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of Scotland, close to the town of Fort William.

As is common for many Scottish mountains, it is known to locals as simply The Ben.

For climbers and mountaineers the main attraction lies in the 700-metre (2,300 ft) high cliffs of the north face; among the highest cliffs in Britain, they harbour some classic scrambles and rock climbs of all difficulties, and are one of the principal locations in the UK for ice climbing.

Hi;I'm from Italy. Usually I climb in dolomites, but I've also been in Monte Bianco.I started last year to do ice climb. I think to be a quite good mountaineer and I'm looking for someone to go to climb in Ben Nevis to do ice-climb and rock and ice climb

Hello I'm escaping the family xmas for Fort William 26-29th Dec and would be up for working on my mixed rock and ice. I'll lead up to Grade II and happily second beyond that. Any length routes and flexible about the area (Glen Coe, the Ben etc).Cheers!
