The beauty of this crag is that it is just outside Baltimore, an easy 15 to 30 minute drive. The climbs are easy, topping out at a 5.9, but with grippy rock and a height of 50 feet it is worth a visit. There are probably about a dozen or more routes all together. Be warned, it is not the cleanest rock, lots of grasses, moss and spider webs from a limited amount of traffic. It's a much nicer locale than Ilchester, located on the Patapsco River on Old Alberton Road, which is now a bike/hike path running through Patapsco Park.

There are trees for setting top ropes, but they are a good distance back from the edge of the rocks. Be prepared with a couple of ropes/webbing of at least 60 feet each.

Directions

Take the Security Blvd exit West off of I-695, turn right on Rolling Road heading north. At the next light take a left on Dogwood Road and head down until you pass Hollofield Road. Just after passing Hollofield Road you will come to a parking area with a gated entrance. Park here but do not block the gate. Head down the path, which is Old Alberton Road about 10 or 15 minutes. You will notice that the path turns to dirt at which time the crag will be immediately on your right, there is no way you can miss it.
