Anyone from the Bay/Sac area have an extra seat to Bishop/Mammoth for me and my crash pad thursday evening? I'll help with gas and driving, if needed.
A climbing partner isn't essential, but anyone is welcome to join up for some bouldering.

We're often off scurrying around schlepping a baby. Trips to the Holcomb Valley Pinnacles, Tahquiz, Bishop, etc. usually entail us groping start holds, licking our chops. Anybody want to climb moderate routes/problems with a couple with a baby in tow???

So Psyched!! Hitting up Bishop/ Sherwin Plateau Friday-Sunday. So far I got 2 others coming. Heading out from San Francisco. Anyone else interested?

- Jack Ziegler - wow your bishop crazy! I can't go that far right now, but I'll probably be psyched for thanksgiving break
- Gregory Rocha - What up... Are you going to Bishop to boulder only? What are the grades of the bouldering problems there?
- Benny Kong - What Grade???? It's just world class bouldering. Once you've been to Bishop all the other crags just wont feel the same.
- Gregory Rocha - Yes, what grade? Like as in the difficulty level V0-V12??? Bouldering only? How long of a drive from SF, 6 hours?
- Benny Kong - I don't really go there for the grade more for the experience but the problems go up to v13. It's just a very magical place with a life time of bouldering.
- Gregory Rocha - I have never been there before... Just curious as I only boulder V2 and that is at PG Belmont... I can climb 5.10a/b though...
- Gregory Rocha - Yes I want to go, is there still room for me?

Replyim a grad student living in davis looking for a climbing partner psyched on climbing routes on the weekends. i can climb .11 sport, am working on climbing .12, and have followed .10 trad. i cant lead trad but would love to learn.

Just throwing it out there guys... who want to head out to Sherwin Plateau (Owen's river gorge) or Bishop next weekend leaving from SF. Thinking Sat-Mon. If you have a car that would be great or we can split on a rental.

- Benny Kong - Its still in the 80' but I'm sure that Sherwin plateau is cooler. There is also bouldering and Sport out there too. You interested man???

Looking for climbers @Yosemite, Bishop, Tahoe, Castle Rock State Park, Mt Diablo, Mickeys Beach
ReplyI just want to experience the outdoors. I currently climb V3 and 5.10 - 5.11b indoor. I don't have any gear except for shoes and belay harness. If anyone doesn't mind a tag-along, during weekends I'd love to go (don't mind the date posted, I can climb any weekend). I can also belay. I'll even bring food and beer :)

ReplyIf you are looking to go climb outside on sundays, I have a small crew of friends, and we climb on sundays at different outdoor locations. We started strictly bouldering, but now have equipment for roping up, and looking to get expirience leading. We are all confident climbers, and climb similar grades v3,v4,v5 and 5.10s pushing 5.11s outside. If you are looking to expand your climbing and contacts, send me a message.
