New South Wales (N.S.W.) is Australia's most populated state. It also contains Australia's largest city Sydney. The coast line is characterized by a flat coastal plane that suddenly hits the The Great Dividing Range, a set of mountains which extends from Victoria in the south through to Queensland in the north. The range includes famous areas like The Snowy Mountains, Southern Tablelands & the South West Slopes. Although NSW is not yet celebrated as a renowned place to travel for climbing, it contains The Blue Mountains - a mere hour & a half west of Sydney - where you will find 100's of kilometers of world class virgin climbing. One could easily explore the towering sandstone cliffs for an entire lifetime!
