Heart Creek corsses the trans-Canada hiway just east of the Lac des Arcs interchange. Because of the narrowness of the valley and orientation of the cliff, Heart Canyon tends to be chilly in spring and fall. The cliffs on the west side get the most sun and will go into shade in the early afternoon. The cliffs on the eastside are more slabby but get afternoon sun.
