Stinson and Mickey's Beach contain some good bouldering and some hard climbing. This was the one of the places that a young Chris Sharma used to frequent.
There is some good beginning bouldering at Stinson and a little at Mickey's and some tough bouldering problems at both beaches.

JUST REMEMBER that Stinson's and Mickey's is tidal!!! Come at low tide if you want to be able to boulder everywhere.
This is well worth the escape from San Francisco.
