Tuolumne is a great place to escape the summer crowds and heat of the valley. Beautiful multi-pitch climbs on high granite domes and spires are in abundance here. Matthes Crest and Cathedral Peak should be on everyones list of climbs to do.
There are also some exciting new sport climbing areas opening on the western side of Tioga Pass as well that are amazing.
